When did you first start having problems with the LAN? What OS are you using?
I have never had a problem with the onboard Davicom with the exception of one M599LMR that suddenly started dropping packets under Win98SE connected to a cable modem - I disabled the card and replaced with a Realtek and all was fine, but then a later change of the OS to Linux and now the Davicom works perfectly once again.
Also, I am using a Davicom 9102 on a BookPC as I type this which is also through a cable modem.
I also have another Davicom9102 in another Linux box that has been faithfully running for over a year now.
I would check your IRQ's first off to amke sure there is not a conflict somewhere and also be sure that the BIOS settings are correct.
You can download the latest Davicom9102 driver here:

: I have a M599LMR with built in Davicom 9102 LAN -- could never get it to work, so had it disabled but now I would really like to use it for a cable modem -- I have seen people all over the net asking about how to set it up but have seen no solutions.
: The drivers seem to install fine, but it still says Adapter not working properly on boot up, and says the same in the device manager -- has anyone ever got it to work and how did you do it?
