First off, make sure the new chip will work by itself.

Secondly, try swapping the memory sticks around once (new chip in bank 1 - old chip in bank 2).

: I recently purchased a 128MB Dimm memory to add to my current 128MB.
: My pc would not fire up. After reading your message board I noticed that some cards are PC100 & and others PC133. My new chip is PC133 but the old P100.
: Is there anything I can do to get them to work together.
: I have the Socket 7 model M571 with TX proII.

: Many thanks
