The only thing you can try is to swap the module around into different slots with your existing module.
You can also try just the new module alone.
The M571 supports PC-66 SDRAM and is picky. Some PC-100 modules will work and others will not (Kingston ValueRAM PC-100 has worked in this board before).
: i recently purchased a pny pc100 128mb mem upgrade but the motherboard did not recognize it. do i have to upgrade my bios or is there another way? my board is a m571lmr
