There is a jumper located near the BIOS chip labeled JP1.

With the power off, move this jumper from the normal position of 1-2 to 2-3 and turn the power on for about 2 seconds.

Turn the power back off, and replace teh jumper to the normal postion of 1-2.

You will then need to reset and check all the BIOS settings as they will all be set to the factory defaults and may result in your motherboard not booting up correctly.

You can download a copy of the M560 manual from here:

http://dejanet.com/vc/drivers/pcchips/m560/m560v31.pdf

Page 11 of 30 of the manual has the info showing the correct jumper posistions and the last section of the manual will help you choose the correct BIOS settings.

You will need to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to view/print the manual.

: Apparently kids have somehow passworded bios and I cannot get into setup. Have added a 20Gig Maxtor to system (and a PCI ATA card) and need to look at setup. Is their a workaround the password?
