You would have to "re-flash" the BIOS by reprogramming the code on the BIOS chip. You would do this by uploading the bianary data from a file. You can find the latest BIOS files that I have for this motherbaord in the DRIVERS section.

NOTE: If you are not familiar with this process, DO NOT TRY IT!!!

Read and search around for a bit or find someone who is falimilar and comfortable doing this. You could destroy your motherboard if you are not totally sure of what you are doing or if somehting goes wrong.

In your case, I really don;t think the BIOS is your problem since you are only changing cases, and I assume it worked fine beofre you pulled it from the old case.

Check the memory chips and card to make sure they are seated ok. Remove each one, blow out the slot, and replace. Do this for eadch memory chip, and one at a time for each card. Then try to power up.

Also, double check to make sure you have hooked up the main power leads to the motherbaord correctly (both black leads in the center).

You can also try unhooking all drives (floppy, hard drive and CDROM). Power upi the computer one at a time (making sure the red striped lead is aligned to pin #1 ont eh drive).

After doing this, I really think you will find your problem...

Also, make sure you have the video cable attadched the correct way - the litte arrow on the balck connector goes to Pin #1 on the onboard video connector.

: I recently was changing to a different tower/box and after installing everything started the computer and got a blanks screen.I have been doing some of the things you suggest in other posts and read something I was no familiar with. You said to "re-flash" the bios. what is this and how do you do this.

: And if I have a bios problem how would I re-install one?
